Time for our weekly jaunt around the world to see what the Hawks system is looking like.
You know, let’s go in reverse this time. We’ll start in Europe. Teuvo Teravainen didn’t scratch in two games for Jokerit. He’s at 12-13-25 in 33 games.
I can’t seem to figure out where Maxim Shalunov is these days, so I’m just going to not care until he does or doesn’t make it to Rockford next year.
Joe Gleason and Nick Mattson were a combined +5, and Mattson had a goal and an assist in one of the two games for North Dakota against UNO.
Paul Phillips was a -3 in two games for Denver
Stephen Johns was a +4 as Notre Dame put it on Michigan’s face all weekend. He’s at 1-12-13 and +8 in 30 games.
Sam Jardine was an even for Ohio State as they split in Alaska.
Kevin Hayes had an assist in BC’s Beanpot Championship game win over Northeastern.
Up to Canada. The Mac Carruth train keeps rolling on. Two more wins, 60 of 64 shots stopped.
Mark McNeill didn’t scratch in three games for Prince Albert, and was a -3.
Travis Brown was a -4 in three games.
Alex Broadhurst had three assists in three game for London.
Garrett Ross had five points in two games for Saginaw (two goals), and he continues to use the Brandon Saad path to success, i.e. being about the only thing to watch on Saginaw (aside from Erik Locke). Ross has 66 points in 47 games.
To the Q. Phillip Danault had a three-assist game for Moncton, and didn’t scratch in their other game.
Brandon Whitney had three appearances, coming in relief in one. He stopped 81 of 83 shots he saw in them, including one shutout.
Dillon Fournier had an assist and was a +2 in two games for Rouyn-Noranda.
